À l'Époque is a one-night runway experience that traces the legacy of a garment — from the closet of a stranger to the spine of a curated collection — through the eyes of designers, models, and stylists working at the threshold of the archive.
Every look is sourced. Every fabric has a history. Each silhouette is reimagined with the craftsmanship of a couture studio and the rigor of an editorial shoot.
Hosted on the eve of Art Basel weekend, the inaugural edition gathers a small audience for an immersive presentation, a curated showroom, and an after-hours conversation among the makers.
“Heritage is not what we inherit. It's what we choose to carry forward.”
— Pheline Joseph, Founder
A South Florida native and longtime archivist of vintage couture, Pheline has spent a decade sourcing for editorial sets, private collectors, and her own studio practice.
À l'Époque is the natural extension of her rule: that craftsmanship outlives trend, and that nothing well-made should be forgotten.
She works between Pompano Beach and Brooklyn, and styles by appointment.
